Clinical Scheduling Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scheduling Lead to join our team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This is a critical role that requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of patients, staff, and providers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide scheduling support and coverage to both scheduling staff and manager
- Ensure all aspects of patient scheduling are completed efficiently and in accordance with department scheduling guidelines
- Provide superior customer service to all patients, family members, physicians, and staff
- Act as subject matter expert for all scheduling processes and procedures for assigned disease groups
- Collaborate with management to resolve potential problems and improve disease-specific scheduling practices
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in health administration or related field strongly preferred
- 18 months of functional role experience required (internal)
- Level II experience required
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to organize time and priorities effectively
- Exceptional communication skills for a varied workforce
- Ability to work effectively and considerately with diverse groups of patients, staff, and providers
- Ability to take initiative and exercise judgment required
