Food Preparation Specialist

A Food Preparation Specialist is a vital member of our kitchen team, responsible for ensuring seamless food preparation and service. Their primary duties include chopping and peeling fruits and vegetables, preparing cutlery and dishes, and measuring out ingredients for the Cook.

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Ensure all ingredients are stocked and readily available for the Chef/Cook to complete their menu.
• Wash and sanitize cutlery and dishes, guaranteeing they are ready for use.
• Perform tasks such as parboiling foods, allowing the Chef to prepare the menu more efficiently.
• Season and prepare necessary ingredients for cooking, enhancing flavor profiles and presentation.
• Prepare select dishes such as salads or other less complex menu items, adding variety to our culinary offerings.
• Set out ingredients for the Chef/Cook before each shift and refill as needed, streamlining our service process.
