About the Opportunity

As a seasoned sales engineer at Motive, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the effectiveness and productivity of our Sales Team. Reporting directly to a Manager of Enterprise Sales Engineering, you will be expected to possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills, technical acumen, product expertise, business savvy, and industry knowledge.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives to strategize on discovery calls, product demonstrations, POC support, and onsite meetings, providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Motive's product offerings, effectively communicating benefits to prospects across various roles.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer pain points and requirements, ensuring successful solution matching.
  • Develop expertise on Motive's competitors, providing valuable insights to Enterprise AEs working on displacement deals.
  • Serve as a product expert, not only on Motive's current offering but also on our future roadmap.
  • Work closely with Enterprise AEs to craft responsive RFIs and RFPs.
  • Establish strong relationships with internal teams, including Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Marketing.
Requirements for Success
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience working with Enterprise/Strategic-level sales prospects in a pre-sales/sales engineering capacity (SaaS and hardware experience is a plus).
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Bachelor's of Science preferred; Master's degree is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A consistent track record of selling complex solutions.
  • Experience navigating Enterprise sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with APIs and integrations is beneficial.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience
