Job Title: Equipment Purchasing Intern

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough audits of store equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform equipment inventory and make necessary adjustments to asset listings.
  • Submit weekly reports detailing equipment changes and updates.
  • Collaborate with Equipment Department personnel to research and process equipment changes.
  • Conduct equipment audits at Hy-Vee-owned warehouses and non-retail locations.
  • Verify expenses from monthly statements.
  • Attend work on schedule and arrive on time.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma and enrollment in a college or university.
  • 1-2 years of Hy-Vee experience preferred, or at least 2 years of college completed.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Work Environment:
The duties of this position are performed in a retail and office setting, requiring the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a day.
