As a PM&R physician, you will have the opportunity to work independently, assessing veterans and providing high-quality medical assessments that support their VA claims. **Job Description:**
- Conduct medical assessments of veterans, including review of medical records and completion of DBQs.
- Work independently to assess up to four veterans daily, using your expertise in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to document current health conditions.
- Submit accurate and thorough DBQs within 24 hours of assessment, ensuring that all relevant medical findings are captured.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
- Active MD or DO license with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred; candidates with a completed two-year residency in a relevant specialty will also be considered.
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail are essential.
