Medical Intensive Care Unit Nurse Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit team at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. As a MICU RN, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
About the Role- This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week with rotating shifts.
- You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, as well as administering medications and treatments within your scope of practice.
- Our ideal candidate has a strong background in critical care nursing and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid Florida Registered Nurse License is required, along with ACLS and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- One year of nursing experience, preferably in a medical intensive care unit setting.
- Prioritize maintaining accurate records related to medications and treatments, adhering to regulatory bodies, policies, procedures, and physician orders.
