Job Title: Dozer Operator - Beaumont

Join Texas Materials, a leading supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready mixed concrete, and paving and construction services in Texas, as a Dozer Operator in our Beaumont plant.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dozer Operator to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to maximize production while maintaining a safe work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing teamwork and fostering a team spirit within the production and delivery departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dozer equipment to maximize production and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communicate with the Plant Manager to ensure a smooth operation of the plant.
  • Load trucks with assigned materials and ensure they are not overloaded.
  • Work with the Quality Control Department to maintain quality standards on materials.
  • Responsible for a safe work environment for themselves and co-workers, including following all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
  • Perform general laboring duties when necessary and other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently under a variety of working conditions.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to operate heavy and complex equipment requiring skill and the exercise of independent judgment.
