Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Expert to join our team as a Radiology Technician in Richmond, Virginia.

About the Role

This is a 13-week contract position with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for obtaining diagnostic images of patients using X-ray technology.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring they understand the process and any necessary positions.
  • Produce high-quality X-ray films of various body parts to aid doctors in diagnosing medical issues.
  • Instruct patients on optimal positions to achieve accurate images, considering their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, adhering to professional guidelines and best practices.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care, prioritizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and professionalism.
  • Foster a safe work environment, promoting national patient safety initiatives and excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by law.
  • At least two years of experience as an X-Ray Tech, preferably in critical care settings.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
