Ship Machinery Installation Specialist

At Tradesmen International, we offer a unique opportunity for skilled Machinists to work on ship machinery installations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation of propelling machinery and steering gear, utilizing blueprints and hand tools. With a strong focus on precision and quality, our ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have experience in dismantling, repairing, or replacing defective parts, as well as reassembling machinery using machinist's tools. This role requires a high level of physical stamina, working with chain hoists and steel rollers, while adhering to safety protocols.
We are seeking an experienced Machinist who can efficiently install complex ship machinery systems, ensuring timely completion of projects and meeting client expectations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working from blueprints and utilizing precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
