Job Summary

This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Nurse Coordinator to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, a 360-bed multi-specialty hospital in Texas.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Neuro Clinical Nurse Coordinator to ensure high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other management team members.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create a teamwork environment that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with Associate Degree.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor certification required within one year of employment start date.
