Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Mid Coast Medical Center- Trinity. As a key member of our laboratory staff, you will be responsible for performing a variety of complex laboratory tests on body fluids and substances to provide critical data in the diagnosis or treatment of diseases.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

This is a full-time position, and you will work from 4 to 16 hour shifts, stand/walk for 4 or more hours, and lift up to 40 lbs. You may be exposed to loud noise, hazardous materials, and bloodborne pathogens. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday with shifts rotating between days and evening hours.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A high school diploma or Associate degree in a two-year MLT college or technical program
• ASCP certification or equivalent
• No experience required for entry level, but six months to one year related experience is preferred
