Intensive Care Nurse

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our CVICU, you will provide direct patient care while working collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff. Your ability to coordinate care for patients, triage patients, and facilitate appointments will make a significant difference in their lives. You will also be responsible for providing patient education on complex conditions and developing individual health plans.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or an Associate's degree in Nursing, with a minimum of 1 year of Registered Nursing experience. A valid Registered Nursing License is required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and institutional policies.
- Collect and document assessment data, develop Plan of Care (POC), and implement POC including medical orders and interdisciplinary approach.
- Evaluate patient progress toward desired outcomes, provide effective patient/family education/discharge planning, and administer medication per standard.
- Act as a resource/supports others, delivers patient care using defined nursing modality, and delegates care based on UAMS standards and specific job descriptions.
