Job SummaryWe're seeking an Account Specialist to qualify new customer leads and facilitate appointments for high-potential accounts. As a key member of our sales team, you'll own the process to increase share of wallet within existing accounts, primarily through remote means via telephone, video conferencing, and online meetings. You'll be the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building strong relationships and rapport with existing customers.
Main Responsibilities- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers within your territory
- Identify, prioritize, and contact new account leads
- Collaborate closely with assigned field sales reps or key account managers
- Manage customer communications in coordination with the field team
- Schedule meetings for field sales reps in your region
- Solve customers' largest challenges with a 'concierge-like' approach
- Follow up with existing customers to ensure high-quality customer service
- Comply with all local, state, and federal laws and requirements
- Document customer interactions in our CRM system on a daily basis
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Account Management, and/or Customer Service, Medical Device preferred
- Proven ability to solve problems on the fly, proactively and independently
- Strong ability to manage a wide range of tasks in an efficient and organized manner
- Adherence to moral and ethical principles in the conduct of your work and relationships with others
- Ability to analyze and evaluate situations and recommend courses of action
- Actively contributes to achieving team results
- Works collaboratively with team members
- Displays appropriate behavior and contributes to creating a positive team environment
- Understanding of sales process and collaboration
- Establishes effective relationships with clients to understand and meet or exceed their needs
- Speaks and writes clearly and concisely by effectively identifying key points relevant to the subject matter
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office Suite) with a strong technical aptitude
- Previous experience with using a multi-phone line system
- Experience with Salesforce and SAP preferred
