Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team at Prosperity Capital Partners. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial and property records. This role will involve collecting and analyzing data related to capital projects, aligning it with budgeted expenditures, and generating financial reports. You will also be involved in tasks such as compiling forecast models, ensuring precise data entry, and assisting with acquisitions, refis, and dispositions. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on small-scale project management assignments and contribute to the growth and development of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Property Forecast Modeling
  • Refi and disposition oversight
  • Maintain data on financial statements
  • Underwrite new properties
  • Administrative involvement with investor communications, Asset Management reporting, and assistance

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a cost accountant, management accountant, bookkeeper, or related position
  • Worked previously with basic accounting systems, QuickBooks, and Excel
  • Must be detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Must exhibit exemplary problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills
  • Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Property management experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
