Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant at The Avante Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapy services to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing occupational therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Assisting the Occupational Therapist in the evaluation process, including self-care, homemaking, functional mobility, and coordination.
  • Conducting individual and group treatments as assigned by the Occupational Therapist and outlined in the treatment plan.
  • Maintaining acceptable resident care ratios as determined by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Providing treatment in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures, and productivity standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Successful completion of the National Certification for O.T.A.
  • Current state licensure or license eligibility.
  • 0-3 years of long-term care experience.
