Job Summary

MMC Group LP is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to oversee the entire local Service Operation. This hybrid role will focus on site projects and operations at the corporate location.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in manufacturing, distribution, and service industries, with a strong background in project management and leadership. They will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, planning and implementing schedules, and ensuring timely completion of projects.

The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. They will be accountable for growing the service department while following company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the service department
  • Plan and implement schedules to meet customer commitments
  • Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost-effective manner
  • Ensure timely completion of projects
  • Oversight and management of subcontractors
  • Daily inspection and inventorying of Division Service Trucks
  • Reinforce company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High School graduation or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Manufacturing experience as a Project Manager required
  • Prior experience in the dock and door industry preferred
  • Ability to attain forklift and scissor lift certifications within 30 days and complete OSHA 30 certification training within 60 days

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and capabilities
  • Practical oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
