Job Summary

The Financial Operations Lead will oversee the daily management of operational processes, policies, and strategies within the department. This role requires strong communication and implementation skills to ensure client expectations are met, alerts and escalations are addressed, and staff is aligned with company goals while adhering to the existing firm culture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the firm's financial operations department, including staff management, billing related to all fees and costs produced by the business line, invoice generation, transmission, and submission.
  • Supply guidance to financial decision-making processes by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policy and procedure in support of PLG initiatives.
  • Protect firm financial revenue by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing invoice management controls.
  • Monitor and confirm department condition and performance through internal audit processes.
  • Develop and recommend solutions for problem areas or situations.
  • Implement project management and oversight related to client and investor billing directives or initiatives.
  • Perform various ad hoc analyses and special projects.
  • Develop and improve processes and resources to successfully support the performance of the financial operations departmental staff.
  • Partner with other firm leadership to ensure financial excellence throughout the firm through rigorous QA/QC processes.

Requirements:

  • Two years of experience managing personnel within an invoicing environment.
  • Five years of experience working in the Creditors Rights industry, with the ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner.
  • Ideal candidate will have deep knowledge and experience with a360's CaseAware system, and corresponding third-party client systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask and be adaptable to continual change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

About the Company:

Timothy D Padgett PA Law Group offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
