We are seeking a Vision Care Specialist to join our team at MRG Exams, where you will conduct comprehensive eye exams for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time role that emphasizes assessments without treatment responsibilities, offering flexibility and autonomy as an independent contractor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review medical records through a secure web portal.
  • Perform thorough eye exams, including Visual Field Testing (VFT).
  • Complete and submit evaluation forms via the web portal within 24 hours of the exam.

You will work independently as a credentialed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist, proficient in Visual Field Testing and dedicated to supporting Veterans' healthcare needs.

Requirements:
  • Licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist.
  • Proficient in Visual Field Testing (VFT).
  • Credentialed to meet the VA's requirements.
  • Passionate about serving Veterans.
  • Skilled in analyzing medical records and exam findings to create accurate, timely reports.
  • Exceptional in both written and oral communication.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of submitting forms within required timelines.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. As an independent contractor, you will enjoy autonomy and a flexible work schedule.
