River Region Psychiatry Associates is a rapidly growing private practice in the southeastern United States, owned by Dr. Shankar Yalamanchili. We offer a unique opportunity for a psychiatrist to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional mental health services.

We are seeking a qualified psychiatrist to work inpatient at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, AL, rounding on units and supervising mid-level providers. The successful candidate will also work outpatient in our local Alabama Psychiatry clinic in the Birmingham Market.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in working with patient populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. A current valid license in the respective State hired to serve, along with a current and unrestricted DEA registration, is required.

We offer a competitive salary of $280,000 - $350,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, serious illness, 20 days PTO, 8 paid holidays, 401k with company match, CME time, licensing, credentialing, and liability insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work inpatient at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, AL, rounding on units and supervising mid-level providers
- Work outpatient in our local Alabama Psychiatry clinic in the Birmingham Market

Requirements:

- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine - Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and/or Neurology
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in working with patient populations
- Current valid license in the respective State hired to serve, along with a current and unrestricted DEA registration
