Nutrition Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team at Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires providing exceptional nutrition care and education to patients and their caregivers. As a Registered Dietitian, you will work under the supervision of a licensed registered dietitian nutritionist and be responsible for evaluating patients' nutritional status, developing and implementing care plans, assessing nutrient requirements, recommending nutrition prescriptions, and communicating information to physicians and other healthcare professionals.

You will also have the opportunity to coordinate medical nutrition therapy, monitor patients receiving nutrition support, provide nutrition education, serve as a preceptor for interns, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and/or approved internship program, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) Registration, and South Carolina Dietetics License.

Preferred qualifications include maintaining 75 hours of continuing education every 5 years, ability to interpret data, teach, communicate to other healthcare professionals, manipulate numbers, and write in medical records, inpatient, outpatient, or community healthcare experience, and knowledge of AND, Joint Commission, Department of Health and Environmental Control, and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is around $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus for eligible full-time positions and a relocation assistance program available.
