Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A or B Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, using a hand truck or other equipment as needed.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required.
  • Communicate with customers and management to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including those related to hours of service and weight limits.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL A or B license
  • One year of experience as a delivery driver or in a related field
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
