About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team at Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our ongoing construction projects and corporate growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Sources candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and industry networking events.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for ESS culture.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to job offer and onboarding/orientation.

Candidate Engagement:

  • Create a positive candidate experience by providing clear communication and timely feedback.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a smooth hiring process.
  • Represent ESS at job fairs, industry events, and networking functions to promote our employer brand.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on recruitment metrics and progress to HR leadership.

Diversity and Inclusion:

  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives in the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and implement strategies to enhance diversity within the organization.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 based on the location and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a recruiter in the construction or engineering industry (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, organized, and analytical
  • Ability to create strong working relationships with internal partners as well as external partners, collaborating to create best in class practices and offerings.
  • Ability to adapt and interact well in a variety of diverse settings while being flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel to various company locations as needed.
