Dish Preparation Specialist

Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Dish Preparation Specialist. This role involves delivering exceptional service, ensuring a clean work environment, and supporting the needs of our residents.
Responsibilities- Serve residents in dining rooms, compile trays, and deliver to residents' apartments.
- Serve and set up trays for the Health Care Center food cart.
- Wrap silverware.
- Makes tea and coffee.
- Pours juices and beverages for meals and snacks.
- Gather supplemental feedings and deliver to Nurses' Station.
- Serve late or 'hold' trays.
- Set up for and clean up after special occasions.
- Assist in cooking meals if needed.
- Clean the tray line after each meal.
- Take trays to the dish room, break down for washing, and clean the area.
- Scrape plates and wash them using a mechanical dishwashing machine.
- Clean work area including carts, toasters, hot food tables, coffee urns, dining room tables, carpet, and refrigerator.
- Consider likes and dislikes of patients or residents.
- Be courteous to residents at all times.
- Sweep the area and mop floors.
- Gather and remove trash and boxes.
- Shelve stock (food, paper, and chemicals) as directed.
- $40,000 - $50,000 per year based on experience.
