Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Lead to join our Enterprise Finance Technology team, which is working on implementing innovative solutions to improve forecasting processes and support operational excellence.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical leads and product owners to deliver data, analytics, and reporting functionalities in the GWD platform.

The role will involve hands-on application development to support current and target processes across the SDLC - design, build, test, deploy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Significant experience in Microsoft SQL programming and development, including SSMS, SSRS, SSAS, and CUBE (Star Schema)
  • Hands-on experience in building ad-hoc reports using CUBE, Snowflake, Tableau, and generic SQL
  • Experience in building Graph database using tools like Neo4J and Tiger graph
  • Deep data analysis, triaging, identifying data gaps, patterns, and behavior to support enhancements and user requests
  • Proficiency in debugging complex SQL Code to generate and identify data gaps and logical enhancements
  • Experience in working with large data-sets (~100 million records)
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align database solutions
  • Ensuring data integrity, security, and performance in the modernized database environment
  • Providing technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of database changes
  • Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies in traditional databases and big data
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Financial data, such as Trade data, Reference data, to build functional calculation modules, reports, and dashboards
  • Functional knowledge of GRRP (Global Recovery and Resolution Planning) regulatory needs in terms of data, calculations, and reporting
