Risk Engineering Specialist

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking a Senior Construction Risk Engineering Specialist to join our team in the Midwest region. In this role, you will be responsible for adapting Zurich's risk engineering tools and services to improve customer risk management and minimize impacts to customer losses.
The ideal candidate will have experience in construction risk engineering, safety, and risk management. You will work with customers to identify exposures and program risk control gaps, and develop risk mitigation recommendations. Additionally, you will conduct loss investigations, including trend and root cause analysis, and implement risk improvement programs.
You will also be responsible for delivering high-quality construction consultative services, including marketing and selling fee services to customers to support their risk mitigation efforts. A bachelor's degree and 6 or more years of experience in construction risk engineering, safety/risk management, or construction field operations are required. Preferred qualifications include 10 or more years of construction safety experience, construction safety/risk management with project management and/or superintendent experience, and advanced-level knowledge of construction safety, operations, quality management, and associated construction risks and exposures.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

- Preferred qualifications include 10 or more years of construction safety experience, construction safety/risk management with project management and/or superintendent experience, and advanced-level knowledge of construction safety, operations, quality management, and associated construction risks and exposures.
