Job Title: UX Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Researcher to join our team at eTek IT Services, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience research and a passion for driving business strategy through data-driven insights.

The UX Researcher will be responsible for conducting generative and evaluative research to build a baseline understanding of users' current state and identify opportunities for improvement. This will involve working closely with project teams to define the value potential of an opportunity and develop potential solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio of work samples demonstrating their research process and methods, as well as their ability to clearly convey findings to stakeholders. They will also be able to work onsite at our campus in Spring, TX, almost all of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop research strategies to answer known questions and reveal previously unidentified factors.
  • Design and conduct generative and evaluative research.
  • Collect, store, and steward qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Communicate, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders and project teams.
  • Adapt and flex to dynamic project needs and priorities.

Qualifications:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Anthropology, Psychology, Human Factors, Information Science, or similar field.
  • Experience leading substantial qualitative and mixed methods research projects.
  • Understanding of various UX research methodologies, including user interviews, work shadows, focus groups, usability tests, and more.
  • Strong portfolio of work samples demonstrating research process and methods, as well as ability to clearly convey findings.
