We are seeking a qualified Aquatic Educator to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering excellent customer service while enforcing and adhering to existing policies and procedures.

Job Summary:

">

This role involves instructing group swim classes and private lessons as assigned by the Aquatic Supervisor, evaluating programs, and making recommendations for improvements. The successful candidate will deliver a safe and excellent customer service experience to our residents, members, and patrons while promoting customer satisfaction with programs and facilities through effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in swimming technique and teaching skills, have strong communication skills, and a minimum of 1 year of experience working in an aquatic environment.

Estimated Salary:

$18.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Instruct group swim classes and private lessons as assigned by the Aquatic Supervisor">
  • Evaluate programs and make recommendations for improvements">
  • Deliver a safe and excellent customer service experience to our residents, members, and patrons">
  • Enforce and adhere to existing policies and procedures">
  • Work cooperatively with all Aquatics and facility personnel to promote customer satisfaction">
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, class information, and registration deadlines">
  • Ensure program safety by monitoring class area and notifying program supervisor of any maintenance or safety concerns">

Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Knowledgeable in swimming technique and teaching skills">
  • Strong communication skills">
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an aquatic environment">
  • American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification preferred">
  • Availability every Monday evening 4:45-8pm, Wednesday evening 4:45-8pm, or every Saturday from 9:00am-12:00pm">
