Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Randstad USA.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
A competitive salary of $75,000 - $90,000 per year is being offered for this position.
Job Description:
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for performing daily maintenance and non-routine maintenance of equipment and facility.
You will work on various mechanical systems, including pumps, tanks, conveyors, dryers, and gearboxes, as well as plant processes such as soap systems, bin storage, boilers, air compressors, and general plant electric systems.
In addition to troubleshooting and resolving problems, you will also be required to perform project installation and start-up activities as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Experience with welding, operating TIG/MIG/Plasma cutters, grinders, drills, and basic machining
- Familiarity with pipe fabrication and layout
- Knowledge of lubricating oils and greases
- Fundamental knowledge of electrical power – voltages, amps etc.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other similar equipment
- Technical schooling or willingness to take required classes
