Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Delivery Professional to join our team at Milestone Technologies, Inc. As a CDL Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to clients across various locations.

About the Job:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a box truck or cargo van to transport inventory/goods to client destinations in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
  • Manage inventory control, prioritize tasks, and maintain a dynamic workflow in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with the Transport Service Dispatcher to plan daily routes, taking into account road conditions, traffic, and local restrictions
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Education:
  • A valid High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle
  • Skills:
  • Current CDL license required
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check
  • Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card physical exam
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year of material handling experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environment
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Windows, Apple, and peripheral devices
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment

  • An estimated salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
