We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Professional - Business Instructor to join our team at The Tennessee Board of Regents.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in an equitable environment, utilizing various instructional delivery modes, including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses via on-ground, online, and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned.
  • Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences.
  • Utilize the College's learning management system to provide course materials to students.
  • Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class.
  • Regularly check College email account and department mailbox.
  • Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends.
  • Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines.
  • Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar.
RequirementsQualifications
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration is required.
  • Three years' related industry experience and/or college-level teaching experience are preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • An ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse student, faculty, and staff population.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Compensation

The rate of pay is $675 per credit hour, making this an attractive opportunity for experienced educators looking to advance their careers.
