Assembly Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team at Kennedy Valve, a leading manufacturer of waterworks and fire protection products. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in assembling components of valves and hydrants, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components of valves and hydrants using pneumatic equipment and basic hand tools.
  • Perform quality checks on products and parts to ensure adherence to our high standards.
  • Maintain production equipment and machinery to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Operate machinery and heavy equipment, such as forklifts, as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and conduct basic arithmetic.
  • Previous experience in heavy manufacturing, preferably with pneumatic tools.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the facility, and lift 50 pounds as needed.
  • Physical job analysis can be provided upon request.
