Job Summary

The Sales Trainer (or Sales Development Coach) plays a critical role in supporting all aspects of recruiting, onboarding, and training Sales Representatives and Consultants. This position focuses on meeting or exceeding established goals within the assigned market, working closely with Sales Operations Managers to drive revenue and quality customer experience metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver coaching and training plans to support market and corporate objectives
  • Ensure Sales Representatives and Consultants meet or exceed sales and quality KPIs
  • Support Sales Operations Managers with in-field training and development
  • Identify individual development opportunities and provide feedback and recommendations
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance a unified and consistent sales process and customer experience

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in direct selling, outside sales, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in training and coaching outside sales representatives
  • Ability to translate training documentation into real-world applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Salesforce or related CRM platforms
  • Background in the direct-to-consumer home services industry

Travel Requirements

This role requires 10-25% domestic travel.
