Wine Sales Representative Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Wine Sales Representative to join our team at Far Eastern Shore Winery in Easton, MD. This is a commission-based position that requires strong negotiation skills, the ability to build rapport with clients, and a keen understanding of customer needs.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell company wines to new and existing trade customers, including retail stores, restaurants, and bars.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to increase sales and revenue.
- Conduct product promotions and wine tastings at retail customers to drive sales and brand awareness.
- Monitor and manage customer accounts receivable to ensure timely payment.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement sales strategies that meet business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and market developments to make informed sales decisions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid driver's license with a clean 3-year driving record.
- Reliable transportation to travel to customer locations.
- The ability to lift and carry a case of wine (32 lbs) regularly.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A background check will be required prior to hiring.
