The Behavioral Analysis Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing the delivery of effective and measurable behavioral treatment to patients at Desert Parkway Behavioral Healthcare Hospital. This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of all behavioral data needed for patient care.

Job Responsibilities

The primary focus of this position is to support the behavioral team in the development of behavior plans, analyze selected target behaviors, educate staff in plan procedures, and provide family/caregiver behavioral training. The position also maintains and improves clinical data feedback loops between direct care staff and the clinical staff.

A key aspect of this role is generalizing behavioral treatment to families and other caregivers. Data collection forms, procedures, monitoring, and analysis are the sole responsibility of this position, with appropriate backup personnel for scheduled absences.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field required
  • Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Analyst required
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in the provision of behavioral analysis and behavior analytic treatment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and organizational skills for the development and delivery of training programs
  • Must have experience coordinating and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • Teaching and training skills are required
