Job Summary

Catalyx is seeking an Electrical Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for procuring, installing, and troubleshooting various electrical equipment. They will also calibrate manufacturing instrumentation according to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure and install various electrical equipment
  • Calibrate manufacturing instrumentation according to procedures
  • Perform routine PMs on manufacturing and building equipment
  • Troubleshoot PLC equipment
  • Plan and layout larger electrical projects
  • Assist other maintenance techs with assigned tasks

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Accredited trade school diploma or certificate
  • Industrial experience working on instrumentation and electrical equipment
  • Applicable military training will be considered equivalent to industrial experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical skills
  • Proficient communication and computer skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and flexibility in job assignments
  • Ability and initiative to complete job assignments in a timely manner
  • Follow safe work practices, NEC guidelines, and standard operating procedures

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work in a team environment

Working Conditions:

Must be available for occasional night shift and weekend call-ins.
