Job Title: Director of Finance and Administration

Job Summary:

The Director of Finance and Administration will be responsible for leading the financial operations of BleiStahl, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, and maintaining compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to improve shareholder value and manage financial risks.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly financial statements, quarterly forecasts, and year-end closing.
  • Manage the accounting ledger systems, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash control.
  • Lead the annual financial audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage the IT and OT systems, including ERP, SW-Licensing, and data management.
  • Act as the compliance officer for the region, ensuring proper training, concern investigation, and concern resolution.
  • Support the regional management team in the selection of legal counsel and maintain company's interface to counsel.
  • Manage the Accounting, IT/OT, and purchasing organization of BLNA, including all personnel assigned to these activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • Competent using office computer software, especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Office.
  • Competent in using and improving ERP Systems, including QAD knowledge.
  • Proven accounting skills, including processing invoices and reconciling accounts.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and methodical when with record keeping and reporting of information.
  • Honest and discreet when handling confidential financial information.
  • Self-motivated and work well in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Enjoy problem solving.
  • Understands and has an affinity to international accounting and reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulation of financial accounts being administered.
