About the Role
The Civil Drafter will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings using in-house drafting software. This role involves close collaboration with the project management team to ensure timely and precise submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare shop drawings and submittal packets for projects initiated by the Estimating team.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on scheduling, design changes, and value engineering options.
- Input project information into drafting software.
- Revise shop drawings based on customer feedback and plan updates.
- Manage multiple projects of varying scope and specifications.
- Ensure designs meet county and state precast product regulations.
- Deliver high-quality and accurate shop drawings.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret civil project plans, schematics, and specifications.
- 3+ years of construction or bidding experience preferred.
- Prior experience as a precast drafter preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and adaptability to new software systems.
