As an MRI Imaging Specialist at Piedmont Newnan Hospital, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in diagnosing diseases by performing diagnostic Magnetic Resonance examinations.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Magnetic Resonance imaging (MRI) and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic Magnetic Resonance examinations in accordance with prescribed standards under the direct guidance of a supervising Radiologist.
- Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program (ARRT) or certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiology Technologist is required.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R) or Certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI (MR) is preferred.
- Six (6) months MRI technologist experience is preferred.
$65,000 - $80,000 per annum based on location and experience.
