Job Summary

As a Watershed Restoration Coordinator with the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, you will play a crucial role in restoring the Whychus, Metolius, Crooked, and Upper Deschutes watersheds. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate restoration efforts, working closely with landowners and stakeholders to address water quality, quantity, and aquatic habitat issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement restoration plans to benefit summer steelhead trout, spring Chinook salmon, and sockeye salmon in the Upper Deschutes sub-basin rivers and their tributaries.
  • Collaborate with landowners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to provide restoration opportunities and address water quality and quantity concerns.
  • Conduct site assessments and monitoring to evaluate the effectiveness of restoration efforts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, government agencies, and community groups.
