Employee Health Services Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Employee Health Services Coordinator to join our team at Highmark Inc. This role is responsible for coordinating and providing comprehensive Employee Health Services that align with state and federal requirements as well as the company's mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Hire Screening: Conducts post-offer, pre-hire screening of new hire candidates, including initial health assessments, department testing, lab work review, vaccine updates, and drug testing.
- Medical Surveillance: Coordinates and administers medical surveillance and immunization programs to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Fitness for Duty Evaluations: Evaluates employees' fitness for duty through health histories, physical assessments, diagnostic tests, and medical documentation.
- Case Management: Coordinates treatment and follow-up care of employees for work-related exposures and injuries, provides case management, and facilitates return to work.
- Leadership Collaboration: Establishes and maintains working relationships with leaders to coordinate employee accommodations, annual/ongoing health requirements, and identification/correction of safety issues.
- Education and Certifications: Minimum 5 years as a Registered Nurse, current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC), Act 34, 33, and 73 clearances, CPR certification.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Occupational Health Nursing certification, Employee Health or Occupational Health experience, knowledge of workers compensation, FMLA, infection prevention, and occupational health standards of practice.
$62,000 - $82,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
