Job Title: Home Health RN Traveler

Job Summary:
Fusion Medical Staffing-Home Health is seeking a Home Health RN Traveler to provide medical care in the privacy of patients' homes. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse and six months of recent Home Health experience. The Home Health RN Traveler will be responsible for completing nursing assessments, communicating with physicians and other healthcare team members, and providing patient care with other healthcare team members. The Home Health RN Traveler will also be responsible for administering medications as ordered and documenting patient information appropriately.

Responsibilities:

  • Completes nursing assessments of patients and documents appropriately into patient records.
  • Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other healthcare team members.
  • Provides and coordinates patient care with other healthcare team members.
  • Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes.
  • Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Medical care provided in the privacy of patients' homes.
  • Requires driving to multiple patients' homes daily.
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • One year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least six months of recent Home Health experience.
  • Current RN License.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • Valid auto insurance.
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions.
  • PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
