The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at one of our facilities in Columbia, SC. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive ultrasound exams using various modalities, including echocardiography and peripheral vascular studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiography and peripheral vascular studies using independent judgment
- Accurately differentiate between normal and abnormal findings
- Review images and paperwork to ensure quality exams
- Rotate to multiple lab locations as scheduled and required by the IAC
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of an Associate's Degree from a formal sonography program
- 1 year of cardiac and vascular sonography experience or equivalent experience in clinical rotations during a formal educational program
- Registered in vascular technology (ARDMS-RVT or CCI-RVS) and registered in echocardiography (ARDMS-AE and/or ARDMS-PE or CCI-RCS)
