Job Summary

This position is located in the Regional Offices, Region Four, Grants Program Division, Grants Business Branch. The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance and supervisory oversight for a staff performing work that involves implementing and managing Federal grants and cooperative agreements, and providing related technical assistance and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving as the Region's Grants program business lead by applying leadership, technical and problem-solving expertise.
  • Conducting day-to-day evaluation of grantee's management of federal awards and funding stewardship.
  • Directing a wide range of Grant management monitoring activities, including risk assessments, audits, policy compliance and corrective actions/remedies.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • One full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.
  • Overseeing the financial review of grantee documentation to include the analysis of grant activity, the financial reporting, and payment drawdown related to grant expenditures.
  • Supervising or leading a staff in ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
