Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Student Phlebotomy. As a Student Phlebotomy, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the skills necessary to become a highly skilled Phlebotomist.

Job Responsibilities
  • Learn and master phlebotomy techniques and blood collection procedures
  • Develop customer service skills and provide excellent service to patients
  • Understand and apply regulatory, ethical, and legal issues related to laboratory testing
  • Learn and practice standard precautions, infection control, and workplace safety procedures
  • Process and handle specimens in a laboratory setting
  • Enter orders and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in clinical rotations and gain hands-on experience
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to learn and work efficiently with laboratory computer systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work any shift, including holidays and weekends, as needed
  • Valid driver's license required
