Job Description:

Mastery Charter School seeks a highly skilled Chief of Leadership Development to join its team. This role is responsible for ensuring the Mastery Network sets the standard for recruitment, retention, and development of school-based leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Principal Managers team to ensure high-quality leader recruitment, retention, and development.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance leadership diversity and representation across the Mastery network.
  • Define and codify leadership skills and competencies that support meeting schools' goals and mission values.
  • Create a strong network-wide leader onboarding and engagement system.
  • Drive internal leadership development and promotion strategies.
  • Develop external leadership recruitment strategies to attract top candidates nationally.
  • Establish strong succession plans for key leadership roles.
  • Lead the Principal Fellows development program.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading in a K-12 setting.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading a function in Human Resources, Recruitment, Talent Development, or a related field.
