About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified licensed therapist to join our team as a Community Based Mental Health Therapist. As a key member of our team, you will establish therapeutic relationships with clients, providing behavioral health and addiction counseling in Marion County. Your passion for helping individuals and families navigate challenging times will be invaluable in making a positive impact in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapeutic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, empathetic relationships with clients, fostering trust and understanding.
  • Behavioral Health and Addiction Counseling: Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions, addressing mental health and addiction issues.
  • Clinical Consultation: Offer expertise and guidance to clients, families, and other professionals as needed.
  • Productivity and Efficiency: Maintain a minimum of 58% billable face-to-face contacts per week, ensuring optimal service delivery.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Regularly communicate with OhioGuidestone professionals, parents, and outside agency professionals to ensure seamless case management.
  • Advocacy and Support: Advocate for clients, recommending clinical and support services upon discharge, and actively participate in treatment conferences and meetings.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete all required paperwork within designated timeframes and assume a leadership role in interpreting and supporting agency policies.

Additional Responsibilities for School Services:

  • School-Based Support: Coordinate and provide services and support to assigned clients and families or caregivers in the school environment.
  • Parent and School Personnel Support: Provide information on child mental health diagnosis, behavior management, household management, communication, and relationship enhancement to parents and school personnel.
  • Group Services: Lead treatment and psycho-educational groups in the school setting.
  • School Meetings and Consultation: Consult with school personnel and participate in school meetings as necessary.

Performance and Physical Requirements:

  • Work Environment: Work in an agency office, school-based setting, or community, including clients' homes.
  • English Proficiency: Possess excellent English reading and writing skills.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Work flexible hours and be available for crisis management by phone.
  • Computer Literacy: Demonstrate proficiency in Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic database usage, as well as basic typing.

Qualifications:

Minimum educational level is a Bachelor's degree in social work with an Ohio LSW. A Master's degree with LPC, MFT, LISW, LPCC, IMFT is preferred. Must have a valid Ohio Driver's License and a safe driving record.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
