Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Leadership Associate to join our team at Association TRENDS. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of professional experience in nonprofit management, development, alumni relations, marketing, public relations, sales or similar fields.

About the Role

This is a hybrid work schedule position with weekly in-office presence. As a Strategic Leadership Associate, you will oversee confidential briefing processes for events and individual meetings for the Dean of the College, collaborating with colleagues across the university to source information and draft briefings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for and staff College Advisory Council events programming.
  • Assist in planning and deploying communications, as well as managing web presence for the College Advisory Council.
  • Develop and communicate reports to guide strategy around decanal portfolio and travel, as well as College Advisory Council fundraising.
  • Organize materials and maintain agenda for weekly dean meetings.
  • Have a moderate/solid understanding of fundraising operations for a school or department of the University.
  • Identify budget requirements and staffing needs on a project or event basis.
  • Have a moderate/high level of authority in drafting informational and marketing materials for review for assigned programs.
  • Assist in developing support materials for specific fundraising activities.
  • Plan somewhat complex activities of volunteer and support groups.
  • Recruit members and provide guidance and support to leadership activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree.
  • A minimum of two years of professional work experience in nonprofit management, development, alumni relations, marketing, public relations, sales or similar professional work experience.
  • Event, meeting, conference planning or similar professional work experience.
  • Project management experience.

Working Conditions

This position has a standard office environment and requires working evenings and weekends as needed. Travel to campus and/or non-campus locations for University business is also required.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's or advanced degree.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year.
