Studio Designer

Eliassen Group is a leading insurance firm seeking an experienced Visual Designer Lead to join our Hartford, CT office. This hybrid role combines design expertise with business acumen.

Compensation: $35 - $42/hour W2.

Job Description:

As a Visual Designer Lead, you will be responsible for developing concepts and designs that align with our strategic business goals while ensuring accessibility compliance. You will work closely with our team to create visually stunning and effective designs that meet brand guidelines.

  • Develop innovative design concepts that meet project objectives.
  • Design according to specific brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs.
  • Multitask, prioritize, problem-solve, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage multiple projects with changing deadlines.
  • Search, retouch, and manipulate images as needed.
  • Demonstrate passion for design and self-motivation to deliver creative ideas.
  • Show comfort working in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, responsible, and conscientious in your work approach.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Creative Cloud (InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • InDesign expert with experience in print and static digital design production.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate, studio, or agency settings.
  • Strong skills in graphs and charts.
  • An exceptional online portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions.
  • Able to work hybrid onsite in Hartford, CT.
