Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Supervisor to lead our Ace Hardware store team. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, maximizing sales, and promoting team effort, we encourage you to apply. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in achieving our company's vision of becoming the best operating chain of independent craft and retail stores in the country.

Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store functions, including receiving, stocking, and merchandising products. You will also ensure that all sales areas are properly maintained, motivate staff to achieve department and store goals, and assist in attaining shrinkage goals within industry standards. Additionally, you will perform opening and closing functions, monitor inventory levels, and develop strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, two or more years of experience in retail and/or customer service-oriented environments, and supervisory experience preferably. You should also demonstrate ability to perform under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail. Physical demands include occasional lifting up to 60 lbs, standing for durations up to 8 hours at a time, frequent reaching, twisting, turning, stooping, squatting, crouching, grasping, and squeezing, and manual dexterity to operate cash registers, computers, calculators, and hand tools. Additional requirements include certification to operate a forklift as assigned.
