We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Community Activity Coordinator to lead our activity programs at Villas of Holly Brook. This role is responsible for creating engaging experiences that promote social interaction, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation among residents.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year (dependent on location)

About the Job

The Community Activity Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing activity programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities. They will work closely with residents, staff members, and external partners to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that fosters connections and community spirit.

  • Lead activity programs, including recreational activities, educational sessions, and social events
  • Collaborate with residents to identify their interests and preferences
  • Develop and maintain a schedule of events that promotes resident participation and engagement
  • Work with staff members to ensure seamless execution of activities
  • Maintain accurate records of activity attendance and resident feedback
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors or in a related field, and be comfortable using technology to facilitate communication and record-keeping.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with seniors or in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
